Water Supply Division

The Water Supply Division assures that safe drinking water is provided to the 2.5 million Mississippians (96 percent of the total state population) who rely on more than 1,500 public water supplies around the state. The Division regulates the engineering design and construction of water supplies, and licenses waterworks operators.

The Water Supply Division also provides all administrative support necessary to manage the state Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund program.
