- 38% report that they are trying to lose weight
- 59% report that they are trying to maintain their current weight
- 75% report that they are trying to either lose weight or maintain their current weight
- 74% report that they are eating fewer calories to lose or maintain their weight
Folic acid
- 23% report knowing that taking folic acid prevents birth defects
- 40% report that they take multivitamins
Mammography screening
- 77% of women age 40 and older have had a screening mammogram and a clinical breast examination during their lifetime
- 60% of women age 50 and older have had a screening mammogram and a clinical breast examination within the past two

- 87% of women 18-65 years of age have had Pap smear screening within the past three years
