  • 38% report that they are trying to lose weight
  • 59% report that they are trying to maintain their current weight
  • 75% report that they are trying to either lose weight or maintain their current weight
  • 74% report that they are eating fewer calories to lose or maintain their weight

Folic acid

  • 23% report knowing that taking folic acid prevents birth defects
  • 40% report that they take multivitamins

Mammography screening

  • 77% of women age 40 and older have had a screening mammogram and a clinical breast examination during their lifetime
  • 60% of women age 50 and older have had a screening mammogram and a clinical breast examination within the past two

Pap smear screening
