| MDH Extends Provisional Enrollment Status to Students Displaced by Hurricane Katrina |
November 2, 2005 — As part of the Mississippi Department of Health's ongoing recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the agency will be extending the 60- day provisional enrollment status for students transferring from areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. The new provisional enrollment status deadline is now November 30.
This provisional status means that it is not necessary for students or their families to present student immunization records prior to admission to any school or licensed childcare facility in order to attend classes.
