Background
Before taking his position at MSDH, Ronald Davis was Human Resources Director for the North American sales region
of Lucent Technologies' Service Provider Network Group, focusing on the strategic influence of human resources
on key business imperatives. He moved to perform a similar role for Lucent Worldwide Services in April 2001.
In 1992, he was named a Brookings Institution Congressional Fellow in the United States Senate, serving as an
assistant to U. S. Senator Thomas A. Daschle of South Dakota, and participating in domestic and international seminars
addressing contemporary social, economic, political, and foreign policy issues.
Mr. Davis holds a B. S. in Personnel Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and an M.B.A. from Mississippi College.
